RACI Chart

Definition: a specific instance of a table that defines Roles and Responsibilities according to the RACI Model; Every process document should contain a RACI chart.

For example, the CobiT framework provides one example RACI chart for each of the 34 CobiT processes. Following standard roles are involved in their charts:

• CEO, CFO, CIO; Business executives, Business process owner

• Head operations, Chief architect, Head development, Head IT administration

• Project management officer (PMO) or function; Compliance, audit, risk and security
