Definition: a category used to classify Relationships;

A Relation Type is defined by the types of both involved CIs. For example, an 'Employment' relationship can only be established between a 'Company' CI Type and a 'Person' CI Type.

CI Types and Relation Types are the main ingredients of a CMS data model.
